Residence Inn, 3999 Easton Loop West, Columbus, Ohio 43219
  • We kind of randomly chose the Residence Inn, after having a bad experience at another hotel, which we left because of bad service
  • The Residence Inn was the best choice we could have made
  • Every morning there was a complimentary full breakfast buffet, which we did not try, unfortunately, since we did our own cooking in the room's kitchen
  • We stayed there nearly a week and it cost us about $159.00 per weeknight, $149.00 per weekend night for a studio queen bed suite
  • We have spent more money on fancy hotels that didn't have half of the things the Residence Inn had, so, when we come to Columbus again, this is most definitely where we will be staying

My husband and I visited relatives in the Columbus, Ohio area. Since we planned on staying a number of days, we wanted to stay at accommodations that were comfortable and also where it would be acceptable enough for people to come visit us. We kind of randomly chose the Residence Inn, after having a bad experience at another hotel, which we left because of bad service.

The Residence Inn was the best choice we could have made. We had a very nice studio suite with a large, comfortable queen bed, cable television and

a regular sized but functional bathroom.

There was a sitting area with a pullout sofa bed, also a business desk and we were able to access the internet from our room, so we were able to keep tabs on our business and email while we were out of town. Our favorite part was the kitchen.

There was a refrigerator, stove, a conventional oven, microwave oven, and dishwasher. They even provided pots and pans, flatware and dishes.

There was a toaster and actually an icemaker in the refrigerator! Table and chairs ...

      • were also available. There was plenty of cabinet space in the kitchen, too.

We actually picked up a few things from the grocery store and did our own cooking when we were there, so this was like “home away from home” for us. Talk about convenience!

Every morning there was a complimentary full breakfast buffet, which we did not try, unfortunately, since we did our own cooking in the room’s kitchen.

The Residence Inn there had a pool and exercise room for those who want to maintain their physical routine. Service was very

good and everyone was polite, friendly and anxious to assist us when we needed it.

We stayed there nearly a week and it cost us about $159 per weeknight, $149 per weekend night for a studio queen bed suite. For our money, it owas one of the better bargains we have had at motels, when you consider all the things that were included.

We have spent more money on “fancy” hotels that didn’t have half of the things the Residence Inn had, so, when we come to Columbus again, this is most definitely where we will be staying.
