Well, Nokia’s N-Series created a lot of hype before it’s launch and the N-70 was one of the first models to be rolled out. I got my hands on it about 2 and a half years ago and at that time I was simply crazy to have a N-Series model in my hand. The phone, since it’s a music edition had a good music quality playback and I found most of my music files play in a superb and really awesome quality. Remember, I said “most”. The phone has a specialized key for accessing the music player and a long press to it takes you to the FM player. Since I’m a music junky, this key is one

of the most important one for me as I’m lazy enough not to browse through the menus to get my job done. The most irritating feature I find in my phone is the constant opening of wrong applications, thanks to the cramped keypad. But after 2 years, I am used to it and simply close the wrong application and try again. The phone provides 5 customizable icons on the screen which can be assigned any shortcuts plus there is a calender shortcut too which shows you any entries you have made. The calender feature is also one of my most important ones on my list as I am a low-memory creature and need constant access to it. I ...

      • find to screen quality good and crisp as all my pics look great on it. However, I could not help but compare it to the latest N-Series’ models like N-96. The phone only supports bluetooth and G.P.R.S. and looking at today’s models makes me feel that this is trash. I constantly find my needs rising for G/P/S/, EDGE and most importantly Wi-Fi. However, I understand the fact that I purchased this nearly 2.5 years ago and all the models tend to get outdated in 2 years of time. Coming to the gaming feature, there are a host of games available which have kept me entertained while I waited hours and hours for my Girlfriend. Just try breaking my
High Scores. Moreover, you can also install Java Games. Wonderful! Long hours of waiting finally entertained. One serious drawback now:- 4 Times, yes, 4 times virus crept into my phone and 4 times it was sent to a data recovery lab. Thanks to the expired version of Symantec Security Suite. The suite expired just 6 months after buying the phone. However, I find that the battery life is really good, considering my 2.5 years of use, you can trust me.The phone comes bundled with a 1 GB Multimedia Card (MMC), but looking at the newer models available today you can get more feature rich model for the same price.

Pros:-Good battery life, lots of games, a good office suite

        Cons:-Lacks several connectivity features.
