After we got hit by a drunk driver, our old Honda had to be replaced. My husband really wanted another Honda or a Toyota. We looked at several but had several rental cars in the meantime as it was our only car we were replacing.
We happened to get several Hyundai Sonatas and were really impressed with the overall size and comfort of the car, not to mention its stylish appeal. After renting one for a month we starting looking at dealerships for new ones but were tired of all the garbage they
put you through before you buy a car, wasting all our time. We found a silver 2006 loaded up with leather, sunroof, etc. We wound up buying it even though it was a 6 cyclinder instead of our desired 4 cylinder. It actually uses close to the same amount of gas as the 4 but the amount of extra power was really worth getting the V6! There have been a few times where we’ve needed to use the extra power in emergency situations and it’s been great.
The car is very room, the
back seats fold down which is great for larger trunk items. The front and back have a lot of leg room and the ride is gentle and quiet inside the car. I really recommend this car as one that has a lot of comfort/safety and features without the high pricetag whether new or used. Ours came with a 5 year/60,000 mile warranty, so some small things were taken care of under warranty, minor details, nothing engine-related.
There are small issues with all cars and with ours the list so far in the past ...
