by Dirk Blocker, son of Bonanza’s Dan Blocker. Neil is played by Michael McNeilly, who reportedly was Anderson’s childhood best friend, thus bringing the story closer to home.

Adding to the cast was newcomer Jason Priestley and Bernie Coulson. When I

see Coulson, I always think of Eddie and the Cruisers II: Eddie Lives. He was great in that.

MacGyver: Blood Brothers is a poignant and touching episode. We get the answers about Mac that we’ve always wondered about, while also getting an entertaining show.
