MacGyver: D.O.A.: MacGyver is a neat little episode where MacGyver gets a nasty case of amnesia and ends up believing that Pete is a terrorist he’s been hunting for years. The face off is really a great bit of angst at the end of the show. It has the perfect amount of emotion.

      Of

course, before we get there, there’s plenty of other good stuff. Mac makes connections with a kid on the wharf, fixing his bike, and with a lady captain. Both relationships are fun to watch. The captain is played beautifully by Nana Visitor. She’s a very talented actress who can pull off ...

      • just any kind of a role. Here, though, she takes the injured MacGyver in and helps him to recover.

They have a great discussion, and even when Mac wonders if he’s a killer or something on the wrong side of the law, the lady captain reassures him that he has to be one of the

        good guys.

Eventually, though, MacGyver accidentally hooks up with the bad guy, a character named Lancer, played by John Pleshette. Lancer is the one who convinces Mac that his job is to kill Pete.

All in all, this is a very nice episode with a great supporting cast to make the viewing that much more enjoyable.
