This is a good episode. I like watching Mac with Carrie and her students, who are also deaf. There’s a great moment when a girl is at the point of hearing something for the first time, and it’s just inspiring

Geoffrey Lewis plays the bad guy in MacGyver: Silent World. He’s a marvelous character actor with a distinctive face that plays towards the villainous roles. He’s menacing and believable.

I also love the bit towards the end where Carrie is daydreaming about dancing with Mac. It’s a delightful fantasy moment.
