MacGyver: Thief of Budapest has that incredible opening gambit where MacGyver is rescuing a horse and ends up buckling the horse to a hook and the two go flying away beneath a helicopter. It’s a little on the unreal side and I worry about that horse. I’m not happy about it, and I

really don’t know how they filmed it.

What amuses me about the rest of this episode is the opening where Mac is eating an ice cream cone. It’s weird to watch him munch away and then throw half of it into a waste basket. Quite honestly, Mac looks very ‘hot’ in this episode. Love ...

      • the outfit and the look he has going.

Then Mac meets up with a young gypsy girl played by Kelly McClain who is his match. She’s a kid, but they make a fun pair. They have some great dialog. She steals his Swiss Army knife, not once, but twice, and she also takes

an important watch and thus becomes part of the action. In fact, Mac agrees to help get her entire family out of the country.

There’s some very fake driving in some scenes, shots we know were done against a blue screen in a studio, but it’s still fun anyway.

MacGyver: Thief of Budapest is definitely a good watch.
