The eighth episode of Richard Dean Anderson’s Legend TV series is called Bone of Contention, and apparently Pratt (Anderson) does sometimes get the girl, since that’s how the show opens. Actually, it’s a nice bit where Pratt is visualizing the climax of one

of his novels. This show has so much innuendo in it, but it’s never more than humorous references. I’m sure it would go over the heads of any young ears who might happen to hear, but it sure is funny sometimes.

the bone came from and why the man delivering it was murdered.

Lots of stuff happens, Pratt gets injured, and the mystery surrounding the bone deepens.

Bruce Gray guest stars as a paleontologist, who is a good friend of Bartok’s. After the bone is stolen,

our heroes end up inside a cave, following the bad guys while trying to retrieve the bone. There, they find an incredible site.

It’s a bit of a sad, tragic end for one.

Bone of Contention is a decent episode; not my favorite, but watchable.
