  • I was glad to see Kurt Busch run a good race, and even Michael Waltrip finished 15th, which I was happy to see

The NASCAR 2009 Sprint Cup Race - Fontana didn’t end up quite the way I’d hoped, but it a was a good race. Matt Kenseth won his second race in a row, with Jeff Gordon coming in second. Kenseth’s pit crew got

him out ahead of Gordon on the last pit stop, and Jeff could never quite catch him.

Surprisingly, two Hendrick motors had problems, resulting in the retiring of two cars, driven by Mark Martin and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jimmie Johnson had some difficulties, too, and never did get his car completely right. He finished ninth.

Kyle Busch had a great weekend, but he was never really a threat in the Cup race. He did finish third, but he was several seconds behind Gordon.

I was glad to see ...
