Stargate SG-1: The Quest Part 2 was the beginning of the final ten episodes of SG-1 and the conclusion to the mid-season two-parter.

Here is the good and the bad:

–Daniel with Merlin is great. This is a reminder of who Daniel really is and why we love him. We need more of this and less

of that other person he’s become this season.

–Sam and Ba’al are a hoot. She kicked butt for a change, and that’s what she needed to do more of. Every now and then we get a glimmer of who Sam should be, and this was one of those times, and it made for good and ...

      • fun viewing.

–Vala was her usual crappy self. I loved Mitchell telling her off. I just hate, detest, and loathe this character to no end. She ruined this show single-handedly, and I still am angry about that.

–Sam and Teal’c barely showed any sorrow about what was happening to Daniel. Instead, all the emotion

was given by Mitchell and Teal’c. That is just wrong, and it’s a reason why the show has fallen to such horrible depths of badness.

Stargate SG-1: The Quest Part 2 has good moments, and lots of bad ones too. It’s nice to hear Jack get a mention, especially when it’s Daniel talking about him.
