Stargate SG-1: Crusade is definitely not a favorite show. The biggest problem with it is that Claudia Black is back as Vala, and that’s a sure sign of disaster. The horrid premise has her in the Ori galaxy using a device to contact the SGC, and in doing so, she’s actually in Daniel’s body. So, Daniel really isn’t in

all that much of the show, just a few bits here and there, and it’s all Vala explaining why she’s contacting the SGC.

Personally, I don’t care. I hate Vala, but I’ve said that before. As relates to this show, it’s all about how she is pregnant with some Ori baby. She’s married to a man named Tomin, who is ...

      • actually pretty good with her. In fact, I will say this. Had they kept Vala with Tomin, she would have been far more acceptable to the masses, including me. They made a good couple. Tomin occurs all the way to the end of the Ori plot on SG-1. They really should have concentrated on this relationship.
It worked, and it was interesting.

The other key thing that we learn in Stargate SG-1: Crusade is that the Russians now have their own spaceship. This is part of an agreement that kept the Stargate in the control of the US government.

Stargate SG-1: Crusade just isn’t worth it. Watch it once just to know the story, or maybe just read a summary somewhere.
