  • I think though that the clientele falls towards the younger side and not so much more mature individuals because I always feel like the place is full of a bunch of nineteen year olds that cannot contain their excitement over getting into the club with a fake ID
  • FInally in the back of the club is a secluded bar and private seating area that I enjoy the most because of the tight space and the music selection

Transit Nightclub in Chicago has been around for a while now to enjoy enough business that they do not have to advertise or use a large group of promoters to get people to come out and enjoy their club anymore. Every time I have gone, there is a huge line of people waiting to get in the door and the club is almost always full already which just goes to show how popular it is among people. I think though that the clientele falls towards the younger side and not so much more mature individuals because I always feel like the place is full of a bunch of nineteen year olds that cannot contain their excitement over getting into the club with a fake ID.

Transit Nightclub is one of the few

Chicago superclubs that has the room and movey to pull it off nicely. There is the large room that you first walk into that is complete with two full service bars and a large dance floor that is overlooked by a nice seating area and a couple poles for those that feel like dancing on a stage. Above this main dancing area is a more laid back bar with seating space but nowhere to really dance once it is full of the parties that usually reserve the area. The music up here usually tends to be house music or old school hip hop beats so it is not really conducive to dancing anyway.

      • the most because of the tight space and the music selection. The people that come back here are a little more mature and know how to enjoy themselves without getting sloppy too. The bar is super long and there are more staff here to handle the crowd even though it is about a thir of the size of the crowd in the amin ballroom. This means that you do not have to wait as long to get a drink or fight over people to get the chance to speak with a bratender.

The last bar is actually in the worst spot I think and should be removed to better help with crowd control and the amount of people that go through this passageway. In the tiny corner section between the

main ballroom, the hallway that leads to the bathrooms and the entry to the back bar is a tiny blue bar fit into the corner of the walls. There is only enough room for one person to stand in there and turn around to grab drinks that are poured so it is very tight adn this guy is always overworked. In front of this are always tons of people standing around to wait for drinks but only about three people can actually stand in front of the counter. When the night gets busy and there are lines of people waiting for the restrooms and people trying to get in and out of the back club, the people in front of the bar definetly cause things to become confusing and impossible to move through.
