  • An order of sago gulaman that would regularly cost you about half a dollar is priced twice as much in this restaurant
  • To add injury to the kind of service they have, we also have noticed baby cockroaches roaming the walls

Just finished our regular weekly lunch out here at the office; since it is friday, today all of the team members go out for lunch instead of the usual bring your own food and eat at the pantry. Today, Our team lead opted to lunch / dine it at Chicken Bacolod.

A local restaurant serving mostly chicken and native style cooking.

Native because “bacolod” is a province south of the Philippines; and this province has their own set of native

      meals cooked “bacolodian” style.

Bacolod Chicken has been known to some who loves grilled chicken with of course their very own spices.

As for me, i would prefer other restaurant similar to the subject because I did not enjoy my food today and thinks that they charge too much for a single order that should have only been half the price.

The serving size is too little, they have no “rice meals”; you have to pay for the rice separately ...

      • and the drinks are too pricey as well! An order of sago gulaman that would regularly cost you about half a dollar is priced twice as much in this restaurant.

I have to say too that their service is quite poor because they are really slow in taking orders, giving our orders, and to add to these, they can’t even give us the bill fast.

Right after our payment, our change is only about a dollar left, however, it took

them like 10-15 minutes to even give it back with the official receipt.

All of this happened at a time where the place is not busy with people eating because it is past lunch time.

To add injury to the kind of service they have, we also have noticed baby cockroaches roaming the walls! Seeing these tiny creatures would only mean that the place is not well maintained, it is not clean and We will most certainly not come back for another meal!
