I’m usually not a big fan of movies that play the whole 1984 card and focus on “Big Brother. ” And, I’ll be the first to admit the idea of a computer independently controlling people’s lives is something out of the 80s (think the movie War Games)and still a bit far-fetched today

considering the computers need to be programmed and nobody in their right mind is going to give every task to a machine when it would mean their job is at stake. But, the film Eagle Eye was actually pretty good. First of all, this was a movie that kept me on ...

      • the edge of my seat from start to finish. You have a slacker suddenly finding himself accused of being a terrorist and, with the help of a defense department computer gone mad with power, performs impossible escapes and death-defying stunts while on an unknown mission. Even though the movie is fast
paced, you get to know each of the characters in depth and are kept in the dark about the overall purpose of everything (including the role of his deceased twin brother) until near the end. Great movie and one I definitely would recommend to you; even if it does remind you of a certain George Orwell novel.
