This is one of my all-time favorite movies. Not necessarily because of Keanu Reeves, but because the premise is so intriguing.

The story is based on a successful Florida attorney, Kevin (Keanu Reeves).

      He is provided

an opportunity he can’t refuse in New York City–and the rest is all downhill from there.

Charlize Theron does a really good job of portraying Kevin’s fiesty, yet fragile wife, Mary Ann.

What I liked about watching this film, was that I had a chance to peek ...

      • into the fantasy world of New York City’s elite.

It was fascinating to watch Kevin’s decline into decadence.

Who REALLY steals the show in The Devil’s Advocate, is of course, Al Pacino.

I really don’t think that another actor could have portrayed Satan any better.

There have been a lot of really good actors to play The Prince of Darkness like Robert DeNiro in Angel Heart.

But because of Al Pacino’s cavalier acting style, I felt that his character was exceptionally believable.

Everyone who likes supernatural thrillers, should have this film in their DVD collection.
