With over 3,200 machines and 50 tables spread out over 170,000 square feet of casino you could stay busy for days at The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, Florida. I consider it to be the most expensive video arcade in the world! But it is a lot of fun if you remember that the house has the upper hand…except for the night that I won $10,000.00!

They have machines from when the casino was more bingo hall than casino (sadly, the bingo hall is no longer there). Now some of the machines remind me more of

arcade games than slot machines. Monopoly, Wheel of Fortune, Little Green Men, Red and Black, Double Diamond, Zeus, Colossal 7’s, Cleopatra, Black Cat and the list goes on and on. There are cocktail servers at all hours of the day and night and several bars located in the different parts of the casino.

The table games at Seminole Hard Rock are Black Jack, several different kinds of poker and Baccarat and Mini-Baccarat. The table limits start at $15.00 although I was told that when the casino is slow the table limits are lowered.

      • Seminole Hard Rock also has a Player’s Club Card that is free to join and then you earn points for using your card. Your points can be redeemed for food in any of the many restaurants (I love The Green Room), merchandise and hotel rooms. Every time you visit the casino you swipe your card in one of the kiosk’s and earn entries in the monthly promotions. You can win cars, motorcycles, vacations and cash. Last month 5 lucky people each won 1,000,000 points that were added to their Player’s Club Cards.

        Besides all of the

casino excitement there are restaurants from very casual to fine dining. There is also a spa with an exercise room and pool with its own bar and grill. Shopping includes The Hard Rock Retail Store where you can buy souvineirs and RainMaker where you can find Native American blankets, jewelry and other crafts, some that are handmade by The Seminole Tribe. And then there is the fabulous Seminole Hard Rock Hotel that is on the same property.

Plan to visit The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino the next time that you are in Tampa, I may even see you there!
