I think this was one of the episodes of the popular 90s American television series “The X-Files” which I found most memorable and interesting. I didn’t find it to be particularly scary or gruesome either, but I still found it to be a good watch. I also saw the familiar face of a certain actor who played the part of the husband. This was the 124th episode in “The X-Files” television series. It was also the seventh episode of “The

X-Files” in its sixth season on television.

The episode was about Mulder and Scully being called to investigate a case where a mother is accused of killing her unborn child. The only problem with it though is that the mother claims to have had her child taken by the devil or a demon while she was sleeping. Another problem is that the baby cannot be found.

The episode is introduced when we see a couple which has gone to do a ...

      • check up and ultrasound on their unborn baby. However the father is upset when the doctor tells them that the baby seems to have some form of disfigurement. That night they talk about it and go to bed when the mother wakes up to a monster which is trying to steal her unborn baby. She screams and tries to fight it off, and then she “wakes up” to find her husband trying to comfort her. However they soon realize that
it was not a bad dream after all as her baby is gone. When the police arrive also they do not believe a word of her story.

Even though the case has been dismissed as irrelevant to the X-Files, agent Mulder still follows it up and finds that the husband has more than something to do with it.

I would recommend this to all X-Files fans as something which is not as heavy as some X-Files episodes, but at the same time very interesting.
