  • This could be Robert De Niro's best acting, but I know it's Christopher Walken's best, he does an incredible job in the movie

The Deer Hunter is a 1978 war film directed by Micheal Camino, the film stars Robert De Niro, Christopher Walken and Meryl Streep. The name The Deer Hunter comes from the fact that before the movie Robert De Niro’s character Micheal likes to

hunt, and takes his friends, he believes that you should always kill the deer with one shot.

The movie focuses as much on the war as it does on the effect it had on veterans before and after, the beginning starts out with an ordinary group of friends, so ordinary they could be you or your friends, and they casually go off to war because they have no choice, the movie takes a sharp turn from casual lightheartedness to these guys being held as P.

their sanity being pushed to it’s breaking point.

The movie has a certain feel to it that few movies can achieve, it’s one of my favorite movies, and I usually don’t like war films, this one gets it’s point across better then most.

This could be Robert De Niro’s best acting, but I know it’s Christopher Walken’s best, he does an incredible job in the movie.

A real classic, if you haven’t seen it then go see it, it’s a must see movie and couldn’t be better.
