I must admit that I didn’t actually see Bram Stoker’s Dracula until years after it came out in 1993. A friend of mine told me that it was one of the best (if not THE best) Dracula film that he’d seen.

The movie stars Gary Oldman as Draculia (Yes, Draculia was his name.

) Joining Gary is an ensemble cast featuring Keanu Reeves, Anthony Hopkins and of course, Winona Ryder.

After watching it, I could not believe that I’d waited this long to see such a great ...

      • film.

The movie’s imagery is really scary.

You get the feeling that you are right there in Dracula’s castle with Jonathan (Keanu Reeves), and the camera tricks are simply unnerving.

What I also liked about this movie is that the directors told the story of

        how Dracula came to be.

The movie isn’t particularly gory, but has just enough gore to keep horror enthusiasts happy.

This was really a well done film.

The costumes and sets are believable.

It’s truly a classic vampire film that all horror buffs should keep in their DVD libraries.
