Stargate SG-1: Demons is a sort of odd entry in the minds of some for the third season of the sci-fi series. In this episode, SG-1 find themselves on a planet that is reminiscent of Medieval Europe in their way of living and beliefs.

At issue in part is the choice of whether or not to butt

into the culture, or let the objectionable actions go. Unlike the Learning Curve episode two weeks prior where Daniel was more cautious about interfering, this time he fights for it passionately, much to Jack’s dismay.

There’s some shocking surprises in store for Teal’c, played by Christopher Judge, in this episode. It catches viewers off-guard, though we ...

      • know there has to be a catch. The final bit may catch fans napping, too, or not for the sharpies who figure out things couldn’t be quite that easy.

We also get the return of the Unas in this episode. The creature was first introduced in season one’s, Thor’s Hammer. Some may or may not

know that the voice of the Unas was done by Judge.

While Stargate SG-1: Demons is a bit offbeat and perhaps even out of place, I still like it. It’s a fairly good team episode and has some very entertaining scenes. It’s definitely not an Emmy winner, but it holds it own as standard TV fare.

    Andrew Leither says :

I love Stargate SG-1. It’s really great with fun, strong dynamic characters in a world mysterious and far from home. It’s has great plot and there’s always excellent action and great dialogue between the characters. I loved Stargate and I want to one day seen watch the episodes all over again.
