Stargate SG-1: Last Stand concludes the action begun the week before in the episode entitled Summit.

Here Daniel, or Pajama Boy as many have teased based on the outfit he wore, has gone undercover at a System Lord summit with the unrealistic goal of releasing a toxin into the air that would kill the Goa’uld on the planet. However,

every time Daniel starts to do the deed, he’s stopped, most notably by the return of Osiris, who is inhabiting the body of Sarah Gardner, first seen in the episode The Curse.

Meanwhile, the Tok’ra have a spy in their mist, and their planet falls under attack. In the process, Elliot is hurt, though he is temporarily kept alive ...

Elliot is a great character, but the powers that be on SG-1 have a fetish for death. They kill off almost anyone who is a good character. I’m not fond of the powers that be for SG-1, and this is just another reason why. I’ll bet that they’ve killed off more recurring characters than any other

show in history. Worse, they’re probably proud of that fact, too.

This show is one I don’t watch very often, even though it’s focused so much on Daniel. I just don’t buy the setup and believe it’s uncharacteristic. It turns me off of the entire show.

Stargate SG-1: Last Stand is okay, but I’d rather watch other episodes than this one.
