Happy days are just about here again! Full Circle is the final episode of season six of Stargate SG-1, and Michael Shanks returns as Daniel Jackson. The opening scene is sheer heaven. Daniel talks to Jack in an elevator, and it’s just like old times. It’s funny and sweet, dramatic and poignant. It’s just great.

When Jack tells Hammond and the others in the briefing that follows that his new intel comes from Daniel, he’s

surprised when no one acts funny. In fact, Teal’c finally reveals that he’s seen Daniel once himself. Poor Sam is the surprised one, and a little hurt as well, I think, to have been excluded. Hammond is very willing to believe Daniel is there. He gives a ‘go’ practically just on the idea of Daniel being around.

SG-1 heads to Abydos and meets up with Daniel once again. Trust me, there’s no comparison to what’s been ...

      • on SG-1 during season six and this quality SG-1 episode. There is the best scene where Jack convinces Daniel to cross the line, and once he does, he sure puts Jonas in his place. It’s like day and night.

The action and drama pick up, and Daniel faces off with Anubis while making a big discovery, too. The funny part is that he finds out later that Sam hasn’t told Jack any of the things he’s said.

He stares at her, and she just shrugs in reply. I’ve always thought it was her revenge. She was hurt that she’d never seen Daniel through the year and then when he comes back in this episode, she just gets this polite ‘hi’ because there’s all this urgency about what needs to be done.

It’s a wonderful show, and we know the ending is going to lead to greater things. After all, season seven is on the horizon!
