      1. Chicken- 500 gms 2. Onions- 3 (medium size) 3. Tomato- 1 (big size) 4. Cloves 6 5. Cinnamon stick- 2 inch piece 6. Garlic- 6 flakes 7. Coriander leaves- ½ cup 8. Chilly powder- 2 tsp 9. Turmeric powder- ½ tsp 10. Cumin seeds 1 tsp 11. Curry leaves a few

      Method: 1. Cut the chicken in to medium size pieces and clean it.

      2. Take chicken in a clean bowl and Add chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix it well.

        4. Mean while, grind onion,garlic,cloves,cinnamon and make a fine paste and keep it a side.

        5. Grind tomato and coriander leaves to make a fine paste. Keep it aside.

        6. Take pan and add oil. Let it heat up.

        7. Add marinated chicken pieces and fry them for 5 minutes and Keep them aside.

        8. Add previously prepared

        masala paste to the pan and fry it till paste turned brown.

        9. Add fried chicken pieces and add tomato coriander paste and sauté well.

        10. Add little water and cover the dish.

        11. Let it cook on medium flame.

        12. Add one cup of water to the bowl in which chicken was taken.(because this contains left over chilly powder and salt).

        13. When chicken is half boiled , add this water,tamarind juice and sauté well.

        14. Cover the dish and cook it till chicken is cooked well.

        15. Serve hot.
