Jack’s Mannequin has done it again. Lead singer and pianist Andrew McMahon has delivered another great album for fans everywhere. This album has many strong points and the lyrics create a beautiful picture for listeners.

Track one: Crashin’ has a great guitar/piano intro that blends into the first verse. Andrew has a great voice, it’s very smooth, and the harmonies are fantastic.

There’s a great little piano bit at 2:18. Another stand-out track is Track six, Suicide Blonde.

It’s a bit different than the album up to this point. This track features a lot of harmonies that at times would seem to be almost displeasing to the ear.

However, the lyrics are catchy and cleaver, the guitars highlight the choruses, and the whole song ...

      • makes one want to sing along. I also liked how he switches up the song completely just after the two-minute mark.

Part of the album I would like to note is Caves and Miss California. These songs cannot be played separately because the Caves outro and Miss California intro complete the end of the Album.

Also, Caves is a song that gets better

and more interesting with each listen. I have come to really love and appreciate that song.

Miss California, however, gives off a feeling of being a fun, summer song about love and all of its potential.

I enjoyed this album a lot, and would recommend it to any fan of the piano rock genre, Something Corporate fans, or anyone who is looking for a good new album to listen to.
