What attracted us to this hotel was their advertisement ‘No casino and night club, offering you an environment of serenity’. That was not a problem for us, as the hotel was within walking distance of the nearby casinos.

When we arrived at Macau ferry (from Hong Kong), we took the complimentary shuttle bus to the hotel.

It was air-conditioned and comfortable, and the drive was just about 10 minutes away.

      The

checking-in was efficient; their staff was polite and obliging, though their English was passable.

As advertised, there is an air of quietude, different from the hustle and bustle of other hotels that were busy with people.

The room was spacious and clean, equipped with all the amenities offered by a four-star hotel.

We like what they have - complimentary bottled water, tea packs and a safe box in the room.

      We didn’t take any ...

      • meals inside the hotel, as there were eating places nearby, where we could sample their local fares.

It was a short walk to the larger and glamorous casinos like Wynns, Sands, Grand Lisboa, Starworld and MGM.

The next day we wanted to do some sight-seeing; the concierge staff was very helpful.

He advised that we could easily walk a short distance to the sightseeing sites only 20 minutes, instead of taking a

        taxi or bus.

As our flight back home was late at night, we left our luggage at the concierge and continued our sight-seeing.

The manager was very kind to help us with our luggage when we boarded the shuttle bus for the ferry terminal.

Quiet, comfortable and value for money that’s what I had liked about Metropark, and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful stay in Macau.
