I purchased the Sunbeam Heritage 2349 stand mixer about a year and a half ago. While I can not say that this machine is the picture of perfection, I do like it for the most part and it does work fairly well. So far, I have not regretted the purchase.

450 watts power output 12 speeds 4.5 qt. bowl size 2 year warranty

This mixer comes with two stainless steel bowls, (one 4.5 qts., one 2.5qts). It is designed with die-cast metal, offers 3-way mixing. It also features a tilt back head which makes for easy bowl. The mixer is also designed for easy cleaning.

      The Sunbeam Heritage is a

good, low priced stand mixer. It uses dual beaters and has two motors. One motor rotates the beaters, the other rotates the bowl. It comes with three sets of beaters, each for mixing different things, such as one for brownie or cookie batter, another set for whipping and so on. Also, the bowl rotates in the opposite direction as the beaters, which means it mixes things better.

This mixer does a pretty good job of mixing, overall, I would say that the performance is good. I have used mine for mixing cake and brownie batters, home made frostings and a few other things. This mixer does a good job ...

      • on all of them. It is very easy to use. It has a dial on the side with a list of settings that allows you to set it on whip, knead, mix, ect. That is real convenient and takes all the guess work out of it, which I like.

I should warn, however, that this mixer is not without its flaws. For one thing, it is very loud and often shakes and vibrates a great deal while functioning. For another, the button for releasing the beaters is hard to push. Finally, it’s a little heavy and the tilt can be hard to operate.

In summary, I find that the Sunbeam

Heritage 2349 does function fairly well and get the job done. If you can put up with the amount of noise that this machine puts out while in operation and you don’t mind the visable vibrating and shaking it does while in use, the other flaws are minor in comparison. All things considered, it might not be the absolute best stand mixer that money can buy, but if you just want a decent, inexpensive mixer that will get the job done, this one will do pretty well. For the price it is worthwhile, especially if you want a stand mixer but can not afford to spend hundreds of dollars on one.
