This book, one of the few books Jane Austen published, is a classic. A story of two very different sisters, and basically, their journey to getting married.

      The characters that are

actually interesting in this book are actually the comic characters and the more annoying characters.

I find the main characters themselves kind of annoying.

The older sister, Elinor, is quite nice ...

      • but overly perfect - always polite and considerate at the expense of her own feelings and wants.

Her younger sister is emotional about everything.

The youngest, Margaret, is only mentioned if

        she says the wrong thing.

I found the ending a bit pat, and an overall attitude as if women were prizes to be won and marriage was the sole goal of a girl’s life.
