Today was the first time I’ve seen the Monk episode “Mr. Monk is at Your Service” and thought it was one of the funnier episodes I’ve seen recently.

This episode has Monk going undercover as a butler (or as he refers to it, a house manager) because Natalie suspects the homeowner, a

guy that was obsessed with her in high school, of murder.

But, Monk ends up liking the job so much, he ends up deciding to do it full time instead.

I have to say he is very funny, yet very good as a butler.

I’m surprised the staff didn’t end up quitting ...

      • after he made them clean the house from top to bottom and nit-picked everything they did.

But, I can understand how the dinner guests might be a bit upset because they have to be re-seated so their dinners form an even pattern.

The case itself was a bit weak.

        You knew the

guy killed at least his mom and possibly his dad and there was a chance his former butler was dead too.

But, you don’t know how he got away with it until a short while before the end of the episode.

Not the greatest episode ever but pretty darned good; especially compared to some of the more recent ones.
