Tonight was the first time I’ve seen the Family Guy episode “Back to the Woods” and I thought it was pretty funny. This is essentially a sequel to the first episode involving actor James Woods; an episode that ended in Peter locking him in a wooden crate.

      This time, Woods is no

longer Peter’s friend, he instead steals Peter’s wallet and, with the items inside, takes over Peter’s life.

He moves into the house and tries to convince the Griffin family that he is the new dad (something that is supported by Peter’s cop neighbor based on documentation rather than the fact they’ve known ...

      • each other for a while).

How dumb can that cop be? I mean, he has drinks at the bar with Peter all the time.

Some parts of the show are a bit dumb.

But, I do like how Peter gets his revenge toward the end; by stealing Woods’ identity and going on

Letterman to talk about his new movie; a comedy based on the twin towers being destroyed.

Definitely an interesting way to put an actor’s career in the toilet quickly.

This is a very good episode.

But, I would definitely recommend watching the first episode involving Woods otherwise you probably won’t understand a lot of the jokes in it.
