I’ve been to almost all of Puerto Galera’s beaches (only the tourist spots) because we conducted a survey around the place. These are Sabang, Small La Laguna, Big La Laguna, White Beach, Talipanan Point and Coco Beach. The best I’ve seen and the most expensive is the Coco Beach. Mostly, foreigners stay there to

relax and be away from the crowded places. The only access to that beach is by a boat from the mainland.

There are a lot of activities that you can do there, though we’ve only done a few: island-hopping, beach-hopping and snorkeling. Other activities that you can do are sailing, rock climbing, hiking, scuba diving,

      • and of course swimming. We had a lot of fun though we only had limited time since we really went there for work.

There are also a lot of hotels, inns and apartments around. We stayed at Apartelle de Francesca. It’s cheap but very clean and nice environment. They also have a pool and serve

home-cooked meals. It only costs around Php 3,000.00 per night. It’s just near White Beach.

My personal rating depends on the beach to stay in. Each beach varies by environment. For example, Coco Beach is more peaceful than White Beach because it’s way more expensive than White Beach. But in totality, I give it a rating of 8.
