Back in the 1950s, they made the book Invasion of the Body Snatchers into a movie. I still think it is one of the better invasion movies of all time.

film starring Donald Sutherland and Jeff Goldblum While not quite as good as the original, the re-make does bring a bit more in terms of special effects and graphics to this film.

While the original limited the amount of gore shown, this film doesn’t hold back and it does add a new element to the movie.

Donald Sutherland and Brooke Adams are the only remaining stars that haven’t been killed and replaced, you have a feeling it’s only a matter of time before they too die.

In other words, this isn’t a film you expect to have

      a happy ending.

Overall, I think this was a good movie and one I would recommend watching; especially if you like films about space aliens taking over the planet.

You just don’t have the flying saucers and explosions in this movie that other films offer.
