      Ingredients: 1. Carrot 250 gm 2. Chanadal 150 gm 3. Green chilly- 3 4. Onion- 1 5. Garlic flakes- 7 6. Mustards- 1 tsp 7. Cumin seeds- 1


      tsp.

      8. Turmeric power- ½ tsp 9. Chilly powder- 1 tsp 10. Oil- 3 tsp 11. Curry leaves a few 12. Salt as per taste.

      Method: 1. Soak chana dal in water for half an hour.


      • 2. Chop the carrot, onions, and green chilly.

        3. Take pan and add oil. Let it heat up 4. Add mustards, chopped onions , green chilly and crushed garlic.

        5. Add curry leaves and fry

        well until onion turned brown 6. Add carrot pieces and sprinkle soaked chana dal over it.

        7. Add turmeric powder, chilly powder and salt 8. Cover the dish and let it cook on low flame.

        9. When carrot turned soft and add enough water.

        10. Cover the dish and let it cook on medium flame till it is done.

        11. Serve hot with roti or rice.
