  • I finished the main quest in about 7 hours (compared to the 12 it took me for the previous game) and was not impressed with the ending

      Like so many RPG gamers out there, I was anxiously awaiting the next in the Elder Scrolls series, Oblivion. Two weeks before it came out I upgraded my video card so that the graphics all the PC gaming magazines were raving out would be

      stunning and for this, I am thankful.

      However, while the graphics and realistic NPCs were unbelievable, the story itself was lacking.

      With the previous game, Morrowind, I could spend hours roaming around the forests, gathering alchemy ingredients and joining factions.

      • these “OCD” acitivities are no longer possible.

        The game lacks the depth and repeat playtime the last one had.

        Friends have had better reactions if they never played the first one, but for diehard Morrowind fans like me, this proved to be a downer.
