      Ingredients : Soya pieces : 1 cup Onion : 1 Tomato : 2 Chilli powder : 1 tbsp salt mustard seed cardamom powder Ginger - small piece Garlic - 4

      pieces Coriander powder

      Method 1. Soak soya pieces in hot water for 2 minutes 2. Squeeze water from soaked soya pieces ( This will remove the odour from soya pieces) 3.

      Season mustard seed in little oil. 4.

      To this add ginger,

      • garlic, cardamom powder and fry. 5.

        Add finely cut onion. 6.

        When onion becomes translucent add nicely cut tomatoes and keep frying 7. Add coriander powder, chilli powder, salt and continue frying 8.

        Add soya pieces and fry till the gravy

        becomes thick

        This fry can be served with rice. The same dish can be prepared in a little different way.

        Grind 1/2 cup grated coconut, 1/4 tsp pepper, nicely cut onion(1 no), nicely cut tomatoes ( 2 nos), ginger and garlic. Fry this ground paste in 2 tbsp oil, add salt, chilli powder, coriander powder and continue frying.

        Then add soya pieces.
