I guess this is my day to vent about television commercials I find detestable. Chief among the television ads that make me personally queasy are the series of commercials featuring Digital Max, the digital character with the blue

      sweater and obnoxious wisecracks.

This character is supposed to influence live human beings to subscribe to Cox Cable.

Good thing for Cox that I was already signed up long before they came up with this digital idiot.

      ...

      • He’s enough to send people running to the nearest satellite dish network simply to get away from those tacky Cox commercials.

Somewhere, there must be writers clever enough to create t.

        v.

        ads that appeal to viewers.

Isn’t the purpose of a commercial to make people want to hear more about what product or service you offer?

I don’t think it’s too much to expect a commercial to be entertaining and this is clearly something Digital Max is not.
