This weekend I went to the Krewe of Bachus’ parade in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is a traditional parade, and I had a lot of fun. There were many things that made this parade enjoyable.

I stood on St. Charles Avenue, which is a more family oriented part of the city and parade route. At this location, the krewe members on the float

were very giving with their Mardi Gras beads. I caught a lot of bread standing there. The bead were just part of the fun this weekend though.

Another enjoyable part of the parade was the members’ costumes. They were shiny and very original. The costumes were very impressive to me. Generally speaking, New Orleans krewe do not always have the nicest ...

      • costumes, but this year they did not let the fans down.

Aside from the parade itself, the safety was a very attractive part of the situation. Since parades like Bachus bring so many people to the parade route, it makes the parade that much more safe. It is a very attractive attribute to the situation. New Orleans is not the safest place around,

but when you feel secure, you can have even more fun.

Long story short, no matter what parade you go to, you will have fun. Most of the New Orleans parades are very big and nice to go to. You have got to go there in the right state of mind and be ready to have fun! I recommend the Bachus parade to anyone.
