  • Not that great of an episode and I was disappointed that Rimmer didn't come back
  • The problem with the show seems to be that most of the characters are one line jokes and the funniest of those jokes is no longer on the show

This episode begins with Cryton creating a lobster diner in celebration of the Red Dwarf crew rescuing him from his old ship, but because he kept the diner a secret they already have plans to visit “Jane Austin World” in the virtual reality suite . I don’t know if this came before Star Trek’s holodecks or after but it’s become a popular trope

in Science Fiction shows with ships.

It gives the show the chance to open into new sets without much explanation as well as exploring new things.

Cryton upset by being left behind and attacks “Jane Austin World” with a tank, blowing up everything.

They then go to dinner and Lister asks for Ketchup.

This upsets Cryton so much that he blows up ...

      • his head.

In order to fix him they need to find another head, but when they go onto the ship they find a stimulant, Stimulants hate humans so they dress up as Gelfs to explore the ship.

The Stimulants steal Cryton who is repaired by a robot which was the same model as him and they escape bringing him back to the

Red Dwarf but the Stimulant follows and in the end the new robot has to sacrifice himself to help them escape.

Not that great of an episode and I was disappointed that Rimmer didn’t come back.

The problem with the show seems to be that most of the characters are one line jokes and the funniest of those jokes is no longer on the show.
