Why would you make a werewolf movie with a title that evokes an Exorcist rip-off?

More Waldemar the Werewolf fun has Paul Naschy once again donning the furry costume to bring

mayhem on the villagers. Only this time, it is a pretty tired exercise that misses the fun and wacky audaciousness of earlier films. It seems the producers went for shock as ...

      • they up the sex and gore quotient CONSIDERABLY and Anchor Bay’s DVD proudly proclaims this fact as a selling point. What the film is, is a weaker version of Werewolf’s Shadow
(1970) and it seems like a quickie film designed to capitalized on that film’s considerable success. (Was Dr Jeckyll and the Wolfman the previous year not a box office success?) Ok if you can get a discount DVD.
