Law and Order SVU Season 1 Episode 4- Hysteria

A body of a young woman is found in the streets. At first it looked like she was a prostitute. But further investigation reveals that she was from a very good family and a really good student. So the investigation takes a

turn in the case gets complicated. After Dylan that several different suspects and several different theories, they finally see the bigger picture. It looks at the murder was just one in a series and they are dealing with a serial killer. Of course, none on this information comes easily ...

      • do to the prejudice and lack of cooperation from several policemen.

It looks like the writers in the series are trying to deliver different important messages in each one of the episodes. But I think they are overdoing it. Not that none of those messages are important, it’s just that those messages

are so overused and all over done, that they lose their effectiveness. In this episode, the social message is the value of human life-what is more important. The life of a prostitute or the life of a good girl from a good family. At the end, the answer comes to the concept of egoism.
