  • But as far as my favorite scene is concerned I would give a perfect 10 to the scene wherein Dr. Grant and the kids are trapped in a field and a herd of Gallimamus comes flocking towards them chased by a T-Rex

I saw this movie as a kid and since then have seen it many times with equal interest every time. It is one of the most brilliantly animated movies I have ever seen. The 3D graphics make each and every Dinosaur spring to life on the screen, and you feel like travelling through the pre-historic era of Dinosaurs.

You might find the animation below par than today’s graphical work but it is really a great work keeping in mind the movie was released more than a decade ago from now. Steven Spielberg has directed the movie and the script of the movie is based on the novel by

Michael Crichton by the same name.

The movie takes you to the world of Dinosaurs from the very beginning when Dr. Grant and Dr.

Sattler are shown cleaning the fossils of a pre-historic Velociraptor. I do know many Dino species names thanks to well-researched movie! The movie also tells how the DNA of Dinosaurs was extracted from a preserved pre-historic mosquito in Amber.

Since the missing links of DNA were completed by the DNA of frogs the Dinosaurs could reproduce themselves. The movie starts on a note where all the technological apparatus of creating Dinosaurs in the lab is featured and in the end has a message of not ...

      • fiddling with the nature it can only lead to destruction.

Dr. Grant along with two kids gets trapped in the jungle where many of these predators are waiting to feast on them.

Their adventurous journey through the jungle is really remarkable. How the big Brontosaurs eats through their hands is an appreciable scene.

But as far as my favorite scene is concerned I would give a perfect 10 to the scene wherein Dr. Grant and the kids are trapped in a field and a herd of Gallimamus comes flocking towards them chased by a T-Rex.

The herd of Gallimamus appears to be so symmetrical and flocking like a

group of birds flying through the sky… The T-Rex featured in the movie is so large and every detail has been clearly woven that it appears very real. I didn’t know much about Dinos but ever since I saw this movie I have been hooked to finding more about them.

The intelligence of Dinosaurs is well-reflected in the scenes where they enter the kitchen and chase Lex and Tim. Infact all the scenes in the movie are so captivating that you’ll be enthralled for the whole time span of the movie.

The movie has a great pace and appreciable flow that binds the viewer very well. A great film worth watching!
