KLIA, an international airport with 15-25 million passengers per annum, has won numerous awards for its quality and excellence. One of its service providers is the AIRPORT LIMO service.

Airport Limo is an excellent and highly recommended service for everybody. The moment you exit from the arrival hall into the lobby, you can see a counter for Airport Limo. At the counter the cashier will ask you which type of limo you want. They have 3 types, namely Waja, just like the size of a normal taxi, Perdana, more spacious and bigger, and Mercedes Benz, which is the most expensive.

They will also ask you how many persons and luggages you have. Then you can tell them where you want to go and the price is standardized depending on the distance. If you buy 2-way, the price is slightly cheaper. The ticket will be valid for 6 months.

Taking the Airport Limo is relaxing and the drivers are professional. Depending on the type of limo you asked for, it’s spacious and comfortable. The Airport Limo gives Malaysia a very presentable and good image.

If you have been to KLIA before, you will notice the moment you step out into the lobby,

      • especially if you are pushing a trolley with luggages, someone will approach and ask whether you need a taxi. These are ‘normal’ taxi drivers who are not allowed to pick up passengers from the airport, because the Airport Limo is supposed to provide that service. The normal taxis are allowed to send passengers to the airport but are not allowed to pick up passengers from the airport. It sounds unfair and somewhat illogical. But the policy is to protect the Airport Limo service provider. Perhaps there ought to be a fairer system in place. Anyway, this is the present
system. If you do use the normal taxi service, you might have to wait for them to drive their taxi to the front. Or, they might ask you to walk with them to their vehicle, which could be parked quite far away because they do not want to be caught picking up passengers. Of course, the normal ones do charge less than the Airport Limo.

I would recommend using the Airport Limo. They are clean and professional. They also have a hotline where you can make booking through the phone. You only pay them when they show up to pick you up.
