Casino Kid for Nintendo is a role-playing game in which you play as a kid in a casino. The game you play most often is poker.

As a poker game this is somewhat fun.

You can see the look on your opponent’s face to try to read what they have, and the game engine

      seems to be good.

However, poker is something that you can play on cell phones or little handheld games at the grocery store checkout stand.

I do not want to load up my NES just to play poker.

Also, this is a role playing game.

You have to walk around the casino looking ...

      • for people to play you.

I hate doing this in a game.

It is like the boring parts of the old Pokemon games.

Instead of walking around aimlessly I would rather just play poker.

To make things worse the save feature doesn’t even work.

If I ever did want to persue this

RPG I would have to do it in one sitting, which is not acceptable.

Instead of buying Casino Kid I should have just bought one of those cheap poker games in the super market or downloaded the game to my cell phone.

As a role playing game for the NES, Casino Kid is no fun at all.
