Death Match is a suspense/drama written by Lincoln Child. It’s puts a completely new spin on match making services.

Christopher Lash is a former FBI forensic psychologist that does private consulting. The Eden foundation calls on him to delve into the recent suicide of their first “super couple.” Super couples are exact matches

Eden makes that end up with totally perfect couples others envy. For some unknown reason, the first super couple just committed double suicide.

Lash is not given complete access to records, so cannot accomplish an accurate account of the crime or figure out why the couples killed themselves. After another super couple commits suicide,

      • things change. Lash is given free access. Eden can’t take the chance that other super couples will die.

Eden’s founder takes Lash into his confidence and shows him the remarkable computer that runs Eden’s matchmaking programs. The computer is the foremost technical advance in artificial intelligence. Its capabilities are unparallel and varied.

        This book

looks at what can happen when artificial intelligence gets too smart for its own good. It shows that sometimes technology goes terribly wrong, and that people are still the most important component.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes suspense novels. If you like a little sci-fi thrown into the mix, all the better!

I am not familiar with Lincoln Child and I like the character Christopher Lash that plays the part as an F.B.I Agent. I would like to get my hands on this book and recommend it to anyone who loves this kind of genre.
