This DVD should not be confused with The Clone Wars which is now on TV. This movie is also a cartoon but it feels like a series of ten minute stories about Clone Wars.

This has most of the characters from the prequels and there is no doubt that it has style but it feels more like a well done fan movie than something in the Star Wars continuity.

      The

style of the animation is cartoony enough that it distracts me, and the action often distracts me even more from the story.

In this movie you have an underwater laser fight, a werewolf Jedi, a giant machine which attacks by slamming a giant might into the sand and a Jedi who looks like Shaggy from Scooby Doo.

The action is fast and very interesting as it is not limited by ...

      • what you can do in live action, but the feeling of the Jedi to me is wrong.

Fighting hundreds of robots they are able to force push them and crush them almost at will and one of them even creates a bubble which he uses to push through an giant submarine robot.

Overall it makes me wonder why the Jedi would use light sabers as well as making me question

every battle in the Star Wars movies.

If Sith lords can run like the flash, or jump half a mile into the air, and Jedi can fall hundreds of feet without being hurt then why is Palpatine, who is arguably the strongest of the Sith lords killed by falling.

Still it is overall entertaining and if you think of it as a dream more than a star wars movie it is a lot of fun.
