Muscle Milk Light is a protein powder from CytoSport which sports advertising clichés such as “thanks to amazing demand of muscle milk, we now introduce muscle milk light.” However, this actually is nothing more than an advertisement cliché.

Unfortunatley for us bodybuilders and muscle-gaining enthusiasts, there are very few protein powders on the market that can actually do something for us on a regular basis. Muscle Milk Light is not one of them. The original muscle milk prided itself on throwing in calories after calories inside your body and as we know, calories are the genetic genes for mass; however, the mass that muscle milk gave was not muscle. I would say it gave

around 65 percent fat and 35 percent muscle And when you compare those statistics to another powder on the market, you are not really getting what you paid for unless you were just looking for a regular weight gaining shake and even then, this is probably not what you were looking for.

However, Muscle Milk has moved away from that and now prides itself on 44% less fat than original musclemilk; so now my estimate over a 3 month period of usage would be 50 percent fat and 50 percent muscle. That is a big up compared to the original muscle milk, but still, would this be what you want as ...

      • a bodybuilder? Would this be what you want as a muscle gaining enthusiast? To have an obnoxious pouch of fat on your gut? I don’t think so.

Personally, I would not use muscle milk light. The price is very decent averaging at 25 dollars, but that’s 25 dollars you could spend on actual milk and drink 2 litres a day for 3 months and probably achieve better looking results. I would see this product as a weight gainer at best, and even then, not a muscle mass building weight gainer. As a weight gainer for someone very skinny trying to fight their way in to the world of bodybuilding by throwing on a few

pounds onto their skinny frame; take a chance if you are that person, but if not? You can do much better you pay for what you get, and what you get from this is a few extra pounds at the very best.

My personal rating of this product goes for 5 out of 10. It just depends on what you want and what you are going for, for skinny people below their BMI or new at bodybuilding? This has the potential to give you some basic results when on the scales, but the results will be mostly on your gut after 3 months. If that is what you want then go for it!
