Typically “Justice League Unlimited” focused on the less famous members of the Justice league and that is good. It adds depth to the D. C.

universe which isn’t in most cartoons because they need to focus on a few characters. The second thing it does is serve as a contrast to the episodes where they focus more carefully on the founding

      members of the Justice League.

This was one of those episodes. This episode focuses again on Cadimus Labs, which has been created because of the fear of the Justice League turning rouge.

One of their scientists releases Doomsday who immediately goes to find superman who is helping to rescue people of an island with a volcano which is about ...

      • to erupt. Much of the rest of the episode is a fight between superman and doomsday.

I don’t particularly like the character of Doomsday in this version of the D. C.

universe, mostly because he was made by human scientists and trained to hate superman. It’s not that it’s a bad character, it’s just not Doomsday, and the talking doesn’t help.

/> The problem is that they want to turn doomsday into one of a rouges gallery of Superman’s villains. He shouldn’t be someone who Superman occasionally fights, it should be a major event if Doomsday shows up.

Again though, it’s fun to watch an episode that focuses on Superman and the fact that the villain wasn’t the character he is in the comics isn’t a huge deal.
