        One night, she met a stranger named Lamont. They became friends. THey share an interest in the FLDS religion. He would help her escape.

        Elissa helped bring down the famous Warren Jeffs. She was able to talk about how he forced her to marry her first cousin at the age of fourteen. This was one of the biggest criminal cases in Utah’s history.
