Sense and Sensibility is a famous novel written by one of the most famous authors of English literature, Jane Austen. This novel is considered a classic and is still widely read, though it is been almost 200 years since it was published.

One doesn’t get bored of the book even after reading it for many times.

      The novel is

the story of two sisters, Elinor and Marianne.

They are the daughters of Mr.

      Dashwood from his second wife.

They have an younger sister and a half-brother, John.

When their father dies, the family estate goes to John, as he is the son of their father.

So, the Dashwood women have to go and live in a new place.

      • In this new home, they find their romance and have heart breaks.

But what makes the plot so intriguing is the way it was told.

The characters of both the sisters, Elinor and Marianne, are portrayed in such a fine manner that you end up falling in love with both the characters.

They are two strong women with strong

decision making power and definite views about life.

Though they lose their strong nature at times, it can be pardoned as they are human beings at the end of the day.

They meet the men who they think are made for them in the course of time.

But will they end up marrying them? and spend rest of their life with them?
