  • I really like that this album has an interesting concept that really keeps me wanting more, the songs are just as interesting alone as they are listening to the album all the way through
  • I can't think of anything wrong with the album or anything to complain about, I think it's a good album

This is Cradle Of Filth’s 8th album, and third on Roadrunner Records. This is a concept album similar to Cruelty and The Beast in style, this time based on Gilles De Rais, the album is subtitled The Life And Crimes Of Gilles De Rais, he was a french serial killer from the 1400s

who once helped Joan Of Arc, and then he was accused of satanism, among other things. This is a nice surprise from the band, it’s the heaviest album the band has released in 7 or 8 years, and a return to form, some of my favorite tracks are S*** out of hell, Sweetest ...

      • Maleficia, Honey And Sulphur, and ten leagues beneath contempt. There was also a limited edition version of the album, with a bonus disc, several of the tracks on the bonus disc were just released on the Thornography limited edition bonus disc, so I just got the standard version and I am happy with
it. I really like that this album has an interesting concept that really keeps me wanting more, the songs are just as interesting alone as they are listening to the album all the way through. I can’t think of anything wrong with the album or anything to complain about, I think it’s a good album.
