I recently watched the movie, “I now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry” for the first time. This movie is hilarious! The movie is rated PG-13 and stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Jessica Biel, Steven Buscemi and Dan Aykroyd.

“I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry” is about Larry Valentine and Chuck Levine. Larry and Chuck are firemen who work together and are best friends. They are also both very good at their jobs.

Larry’s wife passed away about three years ago. After her death Larry had a difficult time letting go

and because of that, failed to get some paper work turned in that was necessary to change his beneficiary on his life insurance policy from his wife to his children. Because he waited so long to deal with the paper work he was told that the only way he could change the beneficiary at that point was if he got married.

Shortly after that, Chuck had an accident on the job and Larry saved his life. In return, Chuck told Larry that he would do anything for him. Larry then got Chuck to agree to pretending that he (Chuck) and himself (Larry) were gay and that they were married to each other in an attempt to scheme the insurance company so that Larry could change his beneficiary.

Their so called marriage fell under suspicion and went under investigation which caused a lot of problems for both Chuck and Larry. Of course each of these problems make for some hilarious situations. There is one scene where Chuck and Larry go to rescue this guy that is stuck upside down in this ...

chimney or somthing and before they pull him out they get into this big argument. They are carrying on like a disgruntled wife and an immature husband, even though they are not “really” married or gay.

Also, Larry has two children from his real marriage with his late wife, a boy and a girl. The girl is more of a tomboy, while the boy acts very femininum and is into baking, theater and the like. Given the overall plot of the movie, this also makes for a comic

      situation.

There was even a scene in which the head investigator on their case was caught going through Larry’s garbage and informed Larry that his garbage was not very “gay” lol! Like, really, what is “gay garbage” ?

Anyways, this is a good movie and is very funny. I don’t want to give to much of the movie away as not to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet. If you’re looking for some entertaining comic relief, “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry” is a good movie to see.
